Masdings was founded in 1930 by Mr. Masdings; our trade was work wear for the people of Nottinghamshire, which is probably where our practical streak comes from (you won't find anything in store that doesn't look and feel good worn on the high-street, in the pub with friends or just relaxing at home). But then The Beatles, The Who and The Rolling Stones exploded onto the stage and we found ourselves in the heady, hedonistic decade 60s. Determined that the people of Newark weren't to miss out on the new Fashion Golden Age, Mr. Masdings started winning accounts from the likes of Wrangler, Levi's and Ben Sherman. In the process, he reinvented the direction of the company overnight. Today we boast over 80 designer brands and a loyal customer following both in-store and on-line. Expect collaborations with infamous brands like Vivienne Westwood, rare pieces and big finds from some of the best designer brands ar ound. We have something for every occasion.
