Rail

Rail’s flagship unit is a large 9,500 sq.-feet retail space built during the 70s in a 150 year old textile shop that formerly was an old 16th-century convent. During 19th-century it was used as an hospital department.

Original 19th-century furniture and fittings showcase the merchandise and a metal rail runs along the selling floor, which has provided inspiration for the name; in fact it was used to transport textiles.

Additional touches include arcs and columns from the original structure and amazing liberty fresco paintings on the ceiling. The store’s historical aesthetics contrasts with the fashion forward assortment which includes contemporary avant-garde labels including more than a hundred names from the world’s top designers. Rail owns four stores in Brescia representing an important role in the local fashion world forefront.
