Benjamin has always admired in details and worn the shoes of the British lower class, famous from the days of the Teddy Boys through the emergence of the most notable characters of the punk-rock scene in the 70’s and 80's, such as John Lydon,Joe Strummer, The Reid brothers from TJ&MC etc... After a few years studying the art of hand-crafted bootmaking in Paris, Benjamin designed his first collection of "Hand-made Brothel Creepers" for the "Store Absynthe" rue Montmartre and some besboke collection for the Dunhill concept store “Rue de la Paix”. Isabelle worked in a diversity of fashion houses, and, most notably, as the personal assistant of Alber Elbaz at Guy Laroche and then Yves Saint Laurent before becoming the head of the textile design department at “Les Arts Déco” Paris School. She provides the “collegiate” touch to the duo.
