With a philosophy built on attention to detail, Mr. Gray is a line of textile footwear created by the team behind Vancouver based retailer Roden Gray and designer Vincent Cook. Although our backgrounds are varied, there is a unified passion for strong design. We all share an understanding of quality that informs our decision making, from original concept through to final manufacturing.

Our inspirations are wide ranging, from the traditions of global and tribal textiles to the technical world of modern athletics. We reinterpret these different motifs through the use of contemporary color palettes and by varying the texture and weight of the yarns we use. The production runs are limited, often using vintage machines that are required in order to produce the unique blend of yarns and complicated patterns that we design
